Adventures in the Real World: Ipswich CBG hosts a 1-day festival all about children’s non-fiction

Ipswich CBG are hosting a very special one-day festival as part of National Non-Fiction November.


Adventures in the Real World – Exploring Information Books for Children on Saturday 8th November 9.30 am – 3.30 pm, to be held at Broke Hall Community Primary School, Chatsworth Drive, Ipswich, IP4 5XD

Their keynote speaker will be Clive Gifford. He will be joined by Christopher Lloyd with one of his What on Earth? Wallbooks, Sarah Ridley, who will be bringing the First World War to life, Chris Brown talking about the SLA Information Book Award and they will discover adventures from around the world with Lucy Letherland. Marilyn Brocklehurst from the Norfolk Children’s Book Centre will provide the book shop and there will be a display by the Suffolk Schools Library Service.

All this for just £50 including lunch, tea and coffee.
