And the winner of the Little Rebels Children’s Book Award 2015 is…

…Gill Lewis for her book Scarlet Ibis. The Little Rebels Award is designed to recognise a rich tradition of radical publishing (publishing which promotes social justice, social equality or which is informed by inclusive/anti-discriminatory concerns) for children in the UK.

The winner was announced on Saturday at the London Radical Book Fair, following a panel discussion with a number of the award judges and shortlisted authors and illustrators.
