BBC 2 Writing Competition for kids aged 13 and under

Have you a budding writer in the family? The third BBC Radio 2 500 Words competition is now open for entries!

The Chris Evans Breakfast Show is once again appealing to children aged 13 and under to compose an original work of fiction in no more than 500 words. There are two categories; one for children aged nine and under and one for those aged between ten and thirteen, with three winners in each category. Submissions must be recieved by 7pm on 22 February. Prizes include winning your own height in books!

    I sent in an entry but I hate it. I know that I can not change it but next year I am going to try much harder to win. I guess it won’t turn out the best as I only found out about the competition 1 day before it closed!
