Would you like to be part of a world record attempt?

In celebration of the lovely picture book The Paper Dolls by Julia Donaldson and Rebecca Cobb Pan Macmillan Children’s Books are looking for people to help make the world’s LONGEST EVER chain of paper dolls!

Anyone can join in and make as many dolls as they like. All you need to do is download one of the paper doll templates available at http://www.panmacmillan.com/paperdollsworldrecord.

Follow the instructions on the videos or the templates themselves to complete your dolls.

Once complete you can submit your dolls by post or online.

If you want to send your dolls by post, cut them out, write your name, age and email address on the back, and send them to:

Pan Macmillan Children’s Books,
Paper Dolls World Record Attempt,
20 New Wharf Road,
N1 9RR

If you wish to submit your dolls online you can find the form to do so here: http://www.panmacmillan.com/paperdollsworldrecord

Everyone who sends in dolls will get a certificate if the record gets broken, and everyone who sends in their dolls will get entered into a special prize draw for a chance for you and your family to attend the record event in September.

Pan Macmillan are donating 10p for every doll that joins the chain to Save the Children, and you’ve got 31st August 2013 to help complete the record.
