Bringing children and books together
We are a national voluntary self-funded organisation whose aim is to promote enjoyment and interest in children’s books and reading and to encourage the availability of books for children of all ages, from first picture books to young adult.
We have four categories of membership.
Our book groups meet to discuss books and children’s reading, enjoy guest authors, illustrators, book editors, publishers, librarians and educationalists, read our group newsletter, help arrange book events for children, book exhibitions and so much more.

Annual Children’s Book Conference
Our annual conference takes place every spring. Next year’s conference will take place in Monmouth from 11th to 13th April.
