National Non-Fiction November
National Non-Fiction November is the Federation of Children’s Book Groups’ annual celebration of all things factual. Born out of National Non-Fiction Day, the brain child of Adam Lancaster during his years as Chair, the whole month now celebrates all those readers that have a passion for information and facts and attempts to bring non fiction celebration in line with those of fiction.

Past Puzzles and Timeless Treasures
The theme for NNFN 2025 is Past Puzzles and Timeless Treasures. From global events to personal stories, everyone can get involved! The work of historians, archaeologists, forensic science and reconstruction could be investigated along with historical mysteries, legends-local and otherwise and historical trails. Buildings, statues and galleries also play their part as do the countless wonderful objects they hold. Time treasures might lead to considering future events as well as those of the past- or changes in a place or building through time.
With a wide range of books out there, here are our recommendations to enjoy information with readers of all ages.
