Older Reader Category Round Up

The Children’s Book Award Blog Tour has now come to an end!  Now the voting can truly get underway with only children being able to cast votes!

This week we have celebrated the shortlisted titles in our Older Reader Category!  Three fantastic bloggers have hosted content from the authors of these shortlisted titles!

Amy from Golden Books Girl hosted a guest blog from Liz Kessler, author of When the World Was Ours, Published by Simon & Schuster.   Liz shares some of the inspiration for this important book and the true story it is based upon.

Steph from A Little But a Lot was next with a Q&A with Ross Montgomery, author of The Midnight Guardians, Published by Walker Books.  Check out Ross’ answer to “What is next for you?”.  Fans of Ross Montgomery will be thrilled with his answer!

BLOG TOUR: FCBG Children’s Book Award

Last, but not least, Liam from Book Worm Hole hosted a Q&A with Jonathan Stroud, author of The Outlaws Scarlett and Browne, published by Walker.  The sequel is planned and a film adaptation is in the works- check out what Jonathan had to say about these and more!
