The Royal Institute of Magic: Elizabeth’s Legacy by Victor Kloss

Today, we welcome Tara Kloss to the blog, sharing an introduction to her late husband, Victor Kloss’s novel, The Royal Institute of Magic: Elizabeth’s Legacy.

My late husband Victor Kloss had a lifelong passion for magical fantasy and brilliant storytelling. His love for writing began in his teens, when he’d disappear for hours creating worlds filled with magical adventure.

In 2014, he self-published his first middle grade novel, The Royal Institute of Magic: Elizabeth’s Legacy. It quickly became a hugely popular series. Victor absolutely loved connecting with his readers and made a heartfelt promise to answer any reader’s email within 24 hours. Sadly, Victor passed away in 2016, but his legacy lives on, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be working with Vinci Books, who are publishing the series in paperback for the first time.

Royal Institute of Magic: Elizabeth’s Legacy is an action-packed adventure following young Ben Greenwood, who discovers a hidden world nestled alongside our own—a place where dragons pull trains and magic can be bought and sold. With spellshooters, even non-magical folk can harness magical power. Here, Ben begins to unravel an ancient family secret that might just hold the key to finding his missing parents and perhaps even defeating an evil that’s gripped this extraordinary world for centuries. It’s perfect for fans of Percy Jackson and Skandar, and anyone who loves a cracking good fantasy novel—just like Victor did.

Here’s an extract from the book to give you a taste of the action and adventure. I do hope you love it!
