Books for Younger Readers Blog Tour Round-Up

The Children’s Book Award blog tour has drawn to a close for 2025 and we are truly grateful to the authors for sharing their words with our fantastic team of bloggers. In case you missed this week’s incredible line up, find the links below to the four pieces for the four shortlisted titles.

Mary Rees, from Book Craic, hosted an interview with Tom Percival, author and illustrator of The Bridges, published with Simon & Schuster.

Finally, our blog tour ended with debut author/illustrator, Emma Chinnery sharing insights into her book, My Friend Andy, published with Little Tiger.

The deadline for voting is Friday 9th May and category winners and the overall winner of the most popular children’s book published in 2024 will be announced at a ceremony in Birmingham on 7th June, attended by representatives from all our local groups and livestreamed on the FCBG YouTube channel.
